Steps
to Hope
is offering a self-defense class for women.
The class meets on Thursdays, September 28-November 16, 6 to 7 p.m. The class is free but registration is
required. Call 828-894-2340 to register
and for more information. The instructor is Adam
Palmer.
Don't forget the PBA Care Kitchen. If you
know of someone who may need a free meal, tell them to come on over to the PBA
basement, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Fridays.
On Wednesday evenings, we are doing a verse
by verse study of Romans. Join us as we learn and pray together. Our
mid-week activities now begin at 6:30 p.m.
Please remember our Food Closet. Bring non-perishable items and put them in the box in
the Library.
The Polk Baptist
Associational Fall Revival will be September 24-27, at Columbus Baptist
Church with special pre-service music beginning at 6:45 p. m. and nightly
services beginning at 7:00 p.m. The
speaker will be Dr. Don McIntyre. All
are invited. A nursery will be provided.
