We will have our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21, from 3:00 pm-until. Please join us for games, hayride, bonfire, pumpkin painting and much more! This year we will have an apple dish
baking contest. All you cooks out there, prepare your favorite
apple dish and enter it in the contest.
Judges will taste the dishes and choose a winner!
There will be a sign-up sheet in the vestibule for you to donate items.

We are collecting pre-wrapped candy to put in treat bags
for our Fall Festival. If you
are willing to donate, we will need this candy by Sunday, October 15. There will be a box in the vestibule. Thank
you!
Total received for Global Missions as of last Sunday is $6,241.50, which is $758.50 short of our goal of $7,000.
We will continue to receive gifts for this year’s offering
through October.
Steps
to Hope
is offering a self-defense class for women.
The class meets on Thursdays, September 28-November 16, 6 to 7 p.m. The class is free but registration is
required. Call 828-894-2340 to register
and for more information. The instructor is Adam
Palmer.
Don't forget the PBA Care Kitchen. If you
know of someone who may need a free meal, tell them to come on over to the PBA
basement, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Fridays.
Please remember our Food Closet. Bring non-perishable items and put them in the box in
the Library.
