Please join us for Crazy
Grace for Crazy Times by Derwin
Gray. This study will begin on Sunday, July 9, at 6:00 pm. Lynn Tarker will be our facilitator as
we study I Corinthians and learn what the Apostle Paul has to teach us about
ministering to others in a culture filled with sexual immorality, racial
prejudices, social and economic segregation, and arguments and divisions within
the churches today. If you are interested, please sign up in the vestibule.
Christian sympathy to Genelle Young and family on the passing of her brother, Harris Casselman.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 25-29, 2017. Dinner will be served each evening 5:45-6:15
pm. We will march in at 6:20 and dismiss
at 8:30. Our theme this year is Galactic
Starveyors: Discovering the God of the Universe. Children, start saving your pennies, nickels, dimes and dollars
[quarters too] for our offering for a worthy mission project!!!
To be able to serve
meals at VBS, we need donations of
the following items ASAP: plates, plastic forks & spoons, cups,
napkins, paper towels, DRINKS, chips, pickles, and Little Debbie
cakes. Since we no longer serve Wednesday night
meals, we do not have a stock of these items on hand. The more donations we
get, the less will come out of our VBS budget! Please leave your donations on
the tables near the windows in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you!!!
Please remember our Food Closet. You can bring
non-perishable items and put them in the box in the Library.
Don't forget the PBA Care Kitchen. If you
know of someone who may need a free meal, give them a call and tell them to
come on over to the PBA basement, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Fridays.
