lunch! There will be no Sunday evening activities.

or Treat” on October 31, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Continue to bring cans
of soup, boxes of crackers, and boxes of hot chocolate mix for the
children’s outreach project. These items will be distributed in our community on
Saturday, January 28, 2017, We
ask you to pray for these three specific things:
1. God will send us where we need to go.
2. The people will be accepting.

Jesus will change lives.
Please remember our Food Closet. You can bring non-perishable items and put them in the
box in the Library.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
FROM PBA:
A reminder about the upcoming Deacon Training on October 25, 2016
at 6:00 p.m. at Mill Spring First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall:
The leader of this event is Rev. Joshua
Lathan. This training is for deacons and their wives as well as pastors and
their wives. The special guest speaker will be Rev. J. D. Grant, pastor and professor from Fruitland Bible College. A meal will be provided.
Polk Baptist Disaster Response:
In response to the wide-spread
flooding in Robeson County from Hurricane Matthew, recovery items are being
collected through Wednesday, October 26th. Bring your donated
items to the semi-trailer located in front of Columbus Baptist Church.
MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
All non-perishable food, Laundry
detergent,
All kinds of cleaning supplies,
mops, buckets, etc.,
Bath and hygiene supplies, Diapers
and powdered formula,
Cloth and paper towels, Sheets,
blankets, pillow cases.
NO CLOTHES PLEASE
Many of these needs can be
purchased economically at thrift stores and places like Dollar Tree or Mighty
Dollar.
