Dr. Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council (FRC) have been led to have a Values Bus Tour of several States. One of the goals of the FRC is to hold prayer rallies in each of North Carolina’s 100 counties. The Prayer Rally for Polk County will be held at Sandy Springs First on Sunday, September 11, at 4:30pm. Everyone is invited to participate. The purpose of the rally is to pray for our nation, promote Biblical values and the making of responsible choices. Pastor Phil Bailey and the congregation of Sandy Springs First Baptist Church invite you to join us for this great opportunity. For more information go to valuesbustour.com   The event will be held outdoors if weather permits and should last approximately one hour. .Participants may want to bring a folding chair if they have trouble standing.

Midway Baptist will be presenting Judgement House on October 21-23, 2016. Judgement House is a ministry that presents the Gospel by a walk-through drama that depicts the stories and truth of people’s choices versus the earthly and eternal consequences. This year’s theme, “Changed,” tells the story of Noah Nelson, an average teenager who enjoys partying and bullying but is changed when he decides to give his life to Christ. Unfortunately, most of the people he surrounds himself with, including his own mother, are not too thrilled with his decision. Despite his friends’ and family’s reactions, Noah trusts in Jesus and constantly stands up for his faith. As you journey through the drama you will be challenged with the fact that a relationship with Jesus will change you. Jesus does not make us perfect and we all still fail, but all of us who have put their faith and trust in Jesus can testify that we are not the same as we once were. We’ve been changed. To make a reservation with your church group, family, or individually, please call the church office at 828-894-5633 or 336-504-4887. To register with us via email, please email secretary@mwbaptist.org. Judgement House will be presented to our community on October 21-23, 2016 (Friday – Saturday, 6:30pm – 9pm and Sunday, 5pm – 9pm). Walk-ins are welcomed, but reservations are encouraged
