We welcome Dr. Darryl Maxwell and his wife, Doris, to our services today. Dr.
Maxwell will bring the morning message in the absence of our pastor.
A drive to collect
paper products for Thermal Belt Outreach, sponsored by the Outreach Committee, begins today and will end on Father’s Day.
Items needed are dryer sheets, toilet tissue, paper towels, and napkins. Please leave items in box marked TBOM.
The 65th National Day of Prayer
will be observed on Thursday, May 5, 12:20-12:40 pm, on the Polk County
Courthouse lawn. The 2016 theme is Wake Up, America!
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program where you can experience God’s healing power for
your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We meet every Thursday night at Midway
Baptist Church: 6:30–7:00 PM Dinner
7:00-8:00 PM Large Group Worship/Lesson/Testimony
8:00–9:00 PM Men’s & Women’s Small Groups
We want to remind you to

we will get a penny every time you do an internet search. You can also sign up
your nonprofit organization if you like. You can also add it to your tool bar on your internet explorer.
Just put in your non-profit group that you want your gifts to go to and then
click on the section to add it to your tool bar and you will have your search
engine on your page all of the time.
Please remember our Food Closet. You can bring
non-perishable items and put them in the box in the Library.
LOOKING AHEAD;
Our Memorial Day will be May 22; the
visiting speaker will be Josh Pruitt. The service will be followed by lunch at the
church.
The Adaville Youth Choir will be in concert
here Sunday evening, May 29,
Pray for our Vacation Bible School which will be
June 26-30. Also, pray about God using
you as a worker in VBS. Let Kim or
Jamie know if you are willing to help.
