The Spring
PBA Meeting will be April 21 at 7 pm at Midway Baptist Church. Rev. Fred Siegfried will be the speaker.
Mark your
calendars—There will be a Spaghetti
Lunch to raise funds for Youth
activities following morning worship on Sunday, April 24. Cost
is by donation.
Saturday, April 30, we will be participating in
the Hands of Hope Walk of Life here
at Green River Baptist Church. The walk
begins at 10:00 am and will be followed by the “Celebrate Life” baby shower in the fellowship hall at 11:00
am. If you are interested in walking or
collecting change, Tabitha Ashley has the forms for the walk and baby bottles
for your change. A list of needed items
has been posted and/or distributed.
Thank you for your support.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program where you can experience God’s healing power for
your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We meet every Thursday night at Midway
Baptist Church: 6:30–7:00 PM Dinner
7:00-8:00 PM Large Group Worship/Lesson/Testimony
8:00–9:00 PM Men’s & Women’s Small Groups
We want to remind you to
use the search engine GoodSearch. If
you will go to www.goodsearch.org
and put Green River Baptist Church
in the Who do you GoodSearch for box,
we will get a penny every time you do an internet search. You can also sign up
your nonprofit organization if you like. You can also add it to your tool bar on your internet explorer.
Just put in your non-profit group that you want your gifts to go to and then
click on the section to add it to your tool bar and you will have your search
engine on your page all of the time.
Please remember the Food Closet. You can bring
non-perishable items and put them in the box in the Library.
KITCHEN
& WNM ITEMS NEEDED
2-liter
drinks, paper towels, napkins, 9-inch plates,
Ketchup,
Little Debbie snack cakes
We have been getting little response to
our needs.
Please help us continue this ministry.
A BIG thank-you to those who have
contributed!
